Blue and Green Brushed Gradient Nail Art

14 July 2013

*Polishes used in this post were provided to me as a PR sample*

As promised in my last post, here is the second version of my brushed gradient manicure... this version is created with the cool colours from the Essie Neon 2013 Collection. And you can check out my swatches and reviews of the collection here.

To create this look:
  • I started with a coat of all in one base coat by essie followed by a coat of blanc of essie as the base colour for my neons.
  • Using a thin brush, I added random brush strokes with bouncer, it's me and shake your $$ maker leaving some space between the colours so that you can see the white from underneath. The jelly-like sheer formula is perfect for this type of nail art!
  • I sealed the nail art and smoothed out the design with two coats of good to go top coat by essie.

Hope you enjoyed this post... I am catching up writing up some posts so you will be seeing more soon! :) I also have to catch up on my 31 Day Challenge... I'm on the "Inspiration" section so it's a little more challenging of deciding which idea I should go with... I am super super super indecisive so it's not been easy at all!
